or Camera Information Sites I've Found! U.T. Photo The excellent Mamiya service facility in California, U.T. Photo, has become Concept Lighting. The owner, Bob Guzman, assured me they are still a source of Mamiya 35mm parts and repair. He purchased inventory from Mamiya, and thinks he may have one of the, if not the only, large inventory of Mamiya 35mm in the United States. He also retains Jimmy Fujisawa, an outstanding technician who has worked on Mamiya cameras for over 40 years! Essex Camera Another recommended facility! Essex is an excellent repair facility in New Jersey that has worked on cameras for me, and continues to service many Mamiya 35mm cameras. Some on-line estimates are available. Phototronic A Reader Recommended repair service in Kansas that still works on Mamiya 35mm cameras. Readers have written to personally recommend them as a courteous, fast and fair service! Unfortunately, Phototronic has decided to discontinue their web site, but you can still contact them at 119 NE Hwy 24, Topeka, KS 66608 -- or reach them by phone at 785-233-0231. Southern Exposure Camera A repair facility in Coopersburg, Pennsylvania (formerly Cardinal Repairs), still servicing old Mamiya 35mm rangefinders and SLR. Online estimates available. Sendean Cameras A repair service in London! It doesn't say so on their web site, but when contacted about servicing the old Mamiya line, Sendean responded: "We...have dedicated Mamiya technicians specifically for the older range and professional cameras." S.K. Grimes No Mamiya 35mm, but the absolute best place for large-format lens repair! CameraRepair.com Another camera repair service found in New Jersey that still works on Mamiya DTL, DSX, Auto XTL, NC1000 and Mamiya Z-series 35mm cameras! Commercial Camera Repair One of two service facilities in Toronto that still work on Mamiya 35mm. They have an inventory of Mamiya 35mm cameras and parts. Reader recommended. International Camera Repair The other camera shop in Toronto (also reader recommended) that still works on Mamiya 35mm. No web site yet, but they are supposedly building one. Fotodiox One of many sites selling M42 to Canon EOS adapters, making your threaded Mamiya lenses compatible with Canon digital SLR's. With P-adapters, you can also use the Mamiya CS and E lenses from the NC1000 and Z-series. Classic-Camera.com Many vintage cameras used mercury batteries which are banned in most places. This site sells an adapter, available for a wide range of equipment, that lets you use today's battery technology to run that great old equipment, so it no longer has to sit on the shelf! Film for Classics A good source for discontinued and hard-to-find film sizes and processing. J and C Photo Interesting source for B&W film. Recommended by Chicago reader Patrick Sanchez.
